The Marlow Brewery Ales, 500ml
Rebellion Brewery was started by two friends who attended school together in Marlow at a time when the sweet malt aromas from the local Wethered Brewery were a constant reminder that Marlow was an active brewing town. When the brewery closed its doors in 1987, Tim and Mark set out on a mission to revive Marlow's brewing tradition. And so Rebellion was born. Since then they have gone from strength to strength and their beers have a loyal following from local pubs and customers alike.
Named after its golden colour, the Gold medal winning 24 Carat is Rebellion Brewery’s take on an American style Pale. As you'd expect, it has a malty base and big hoppy freshness, while delivering an intense, tropical aroma and a bitter finish. Distinctive bittersweet flavour, hoppy fresh over a malty base. Intense, tropical and bright hoppy aroma. 5% ABV.
A warming, Autumnal red ale, rich & malty, with a balancing bittersweet hop character. The 10% Crystal malt blended with Maris Otter pale ale malt in the mash gives the beer its reddish hue. The English First Gold & Goldings hops are added at stages in the copper for flavour. The addition American Cascade in the hop-back gives this ale a fruity aroma. 4.5% ABV
